Ukrainians traditionally celebrate the Day of Embroidery on the third Thursday of May.

This day is not an official holiday, but it is celebrated not only in Ukraine, but also abroad – by Ukrainians and all people who are committed to us and our culture.

The campaign was initiated by the students of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi University. In 2006 they proposed to devote one day of the year to the Ukrainian embroidered shirt.

This year, the employees of OilGroup also joined the holiday by coming to work in embroidered shirts.
